Another Birthday Card

I have one more birthday card to share. This card I made in the summer for my Aunt. The butterfly die cut I found in my stash of cool stuff. It was great that it just happened to match Basic Grey's Euphoria patterned paper that I had. I love Basic Grey paper and die cuts. This was a very simple card.

Birthday Cards

Hello
Today I have a couple of birthday cards I have made. The only stamping on these cards is the Happy Birthday. The rest is punches and die cuts. The flower on the first card is made using Stampin Up Birds and Bloom sizzlet dies. I love this set of dies. You can do some really cute things with it. The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch. The tag is from Spellbinders Tag Trio. The card base is Stampin Up Pink Pink Pirouette, the designer paper is Stampin Up Bella Rose.
The second card is made using Stampin Up Bajz Breeze cardstock, Urban Oasis Designer Paper, and Baja Breeze 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. I also used Stampin Up Curly Label Punch, Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch, and Stampin Up Flower Fusion Too. Enjoy and have a nice day.

Halloween Cards

Hello
Today I thought I would share some Halloween cards I made for my family and friends. There is no stamping on these cards. I had lots of really cute Halloween stickers in my stash , so I decided to use them. I am one of those people who buys, buys, buys, and then has a hard time letting go. Everything is so darn cute. This time though I surprised myself and used just about all of the stickers I had. I can't wait to start building my stock pile again for next years cards. So if you are one of those people like me and can't let go, I encourage you to just do it. There is always new and better things in the stores all the time. Well enjoy and have a nice day.

Halloween Treat Bags

Hello Everyone

Today I wanted to share a very cute project. A group of girls and I went to The Mall of America for Archiver's Scrapfest a couple of weeks ago. We stayed overnight at a hotel for 2 nights. I thought it would be a great idea if I put together a project for us all to make when we returned to our hotel rooms on Friday Night. I cut out Halloween treat bags using the Bag with Scallop Bigz xl die from Stamp In Up. Some of the halloween paper is Rob and Bob Halloween from K and Company, I Bought this paper at Target. The rest of the paper is just some halloween paper I had in my paper stash. I punched a scalloped oval using the scallop oval punch from Stamp In Up. I found that you have to use sticky strip double sided adhesive (from Stamp In Up) when you assemble the bag. A regular adhesive runner is not strong enough. I used small velcro circles to close the bag. The tags are also from The Rob and Bob Halloween collection from K and Company, also bought at Target. I use grosgrain ribbon around the flap of the bag, I then used a piece of colored wax floss to attach the tag to the ribbon. The bags in the picture are the bags that we all made. As you can see everyone used different tags to make there project unique. I think they all turned out very cute. I hope you like them.

My Minds Eye Birthday Card

Hello

Wow, it has been awhile since I have posted on my blog. We are always so busy during the summer that it is hard to get any stamping done. Today I would like to share a card I made using paper from My Minds Eye. I love their paper kits. The card posted here today was made using My Minds Eye Pretty Please paper. I used my Top Note die from Stampin' Up. The flower and bird are made using the Stampin' Up Birds and Bloom Sizzlit Dies. I got the idea to layer the flower and bird on A blog called Ink About Me. The rhinestone swirl, button and ric rack are just some spare things I have in my very large stash of stuff. I really love having STUFF, don't you? Well I hope I will be able to post some more card very soon. So please keep checking my site to see what I have been up to. Enjoy

Mother's Day Card

Hello
Today I am sharing a Mother's Day card I made. My card was inspired by a card I saw on http://debbiedesigns.typepad.com/.
I love the pastel colors that Debbie used. My card started with white card stock. The patterned paper is Urban Prairie by Basic Grey. I used my Cuttlebug swiss dot embossing folder to emboss the pistachio layer which is by Bazzil. The label was die cut and embossed using my Labels 4 Nestabilties die by Spellbinders. I softly sponged the label using Cool Caribbean and Kiwi Kiss ink by SU. The stems were stamped using a very old SU stamp set called Border Builders. I masked off the part of the stamp that I did not want to use. I used silver wire to fill in the button holes. The For You was stamped and punched out using my small oval punch by SU. The buttons, ribbon, and butterfly were things I f0und in my stash of goodies that I have. Enjoy and have a nice day.

Quick and Easy Card

The weather is so nice today I can't wait to get outside and start working in my flower beds. Before I do though I thought I would do a quick post. This card was a very quick card to make. Using flower emblishments adds a pretty touch to a very basic card design. The flowered paper is from the Euphoria collection by Basic Grey. I use a scalloped border sticker from the same collection. A little paper piercing finished off the card. Enjoy

I used Stampinups word window punch for the Happy Easter. The ribbon is from JoAnn Fabrics. Thanks for looking and enjoy.
