Baby Card

This last card I am posting today was a really fast and easy card to make. The piece with the light blue top and green checked bottom was a tag die cut I had from October Afternoon's Duck in a Row collection. It already had a sun and cloud printed on it. I just cut out 2 clouds from felt using my cloud dies from PaperTrey Ink. The Duck and star are also die cuts from the same October Afternoon collection. The polka dot ribbon is from Stampin Up. I really hope you enjoy the cards I posted today. Once again if you would like anymore info on these cards just leave me a comment and I will try to get them to you. Enjoy

Flower Seed Packet Holders

This next group of cards are holders for flower seed packets. You can't see from the picture, but on the inside is a pocket were I inserted flower seed packets. I got the design for this card from Debbie Olson's Thinking Inking blog. She has the pattern and instructions posted. If you are interested in seeing these instructions they were posted in April 2008. Just click on the link to her blog that I have on my side bar. Sorry I don't know how to insert a direct link to her post here. I really need someone to show me how to do that. Anyway Debbie's original post was for a gift card holder. I just increased the size, and taped up the sides so I could insert a standard size packet of flower seeds. The top flap uses a Spellbinders Scallop Paisley Nestie. I used velcro circles to hold the flap closed. The butterfly was made with the Stampin Up Bigz Butterfly die. All the pattern paper is various Basic Grey paper I had on hand.

Butterfly Card

On this next card I used the Stampin Up Bigz Butterfly die. I am not sure the manufacturer of the paper I used. As you can see I also used some lace on this card. I love the inspiration I get from other blogs. Who would of thought, felt and lace on a card. Who ever comes up with these ideas is very creative. What will be next?

Basic Grey flower card

This second card uses Basic Grey paper. The flower is cut using a flower die from PaperTrey Ink. I also used the PaperTrey Ink ric rac die. I really like the ric rac die. It is so much fun to use with felt. The leaves are cut using a die from Stampin Up.

Easter Card

Hello Everyone
Well as you can see I am really behind in posting cards on my blog. I will be posting several cards today that I have made in the past couple of months. I am not going to get into the supplies I used, because it is very time consuming. If anyone would like to know what paper, stamps or other accessaries I used just leave a comnent to this post, I will then get the supply list to you.

The first card I am posting is a Easter Card that I sent to my family and friends. I will just tell you that the paper is from Stampin Up. The bunny stamp is from the Angel Company.

Cupcake Birthday Card

Here is another birthday card. The cupcake on this card is a felt sticker from K & Company. I put the pink rhinestone circle around it. The paper is just some miscellaneous paper I had. The little hearts were in the same pack as the cupcake. I really love using felt stickers. They give a really cute dimension to cards.

Vellum Flower Birthday Card

Here is one of the birthday cards that I promised I would post. For the flower on the card I punched out 5 Scalloped circles in pink vellum using Stampin Ups scallop circle punch. I layered all five together and punched a hole in the center. I use a brad to hold them all together. I then crumbled the top 4 layers to get a ripple effect. I saw the tutorial for this on a blog called My Favorite Things. I would put a link to the blog here, but I don't know how to do that yet. The swirl is from a stamp set called dotted swirls by Inkadinado. Thanks for looking.

Hello

Today I want to share the Valentines Day Card I sent to my family and friends. I am a little late with this post because I was trying out some photo editing software. I usually just snap a picture and then post it. I am trying to learn the ins and outs of editing my pictures. It is really frustrating at times though. I want my pictures to be crisp and clear like I see on some of the blogs I look at. The picture of my valentines day card is as good as it gets until I figure out the steps to a great picture. The large heart on this card is cut out with the scalloped heart nestie die by spellbinders. I used some white glitter paper I got from Target. The small heart is cut out with Stampin Ups scalloped heart embosslit that was in the mini cat. I will be posting a couple of birthday cards I made soon, so check back to see them.

Christmas Card

Today I just wanted to share the christmas card I made and sent out this year. I know I am a little late, but it has been very hectic lately. As you can see on my card the only stamping I did was the Merry Christmas. I really like using die cuts. The die cut on this card was from Office Max. I think it was suppose to be used as a gift tag. The silver and red ribbon was from JoAnn Fabric. I hope everyone had a great holiday. Enjoy
